Company History

SeaCorp Seattle, Inc. was established in 2005 by Alfredo Ovalle and James Iwase, the culmination of more than 20 years of experience in the seafood industry. The company was created as a means to facilitate the growth of both suppliers and end users incorporating unprecedented levels of service, loyalty and consistency.

Our business partners understand the value of accurate market information, above-par quality control, and balanced negotiation in order to solve problems and promote all parties’ growth in a timely manner.

Brian Bell was brought on board to expand the company’s line to include wild products from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Having previously filled roles in production, management, independent inspection and consulting, he has brought yet another facet to SeaCorp’s service oriented business model.

As the staff at SeaCorp grows, so does its experience in dealing with a wide variety of fresh and frozen products and firmly entrenches the company as an expert in the “global fishery”.

Seacorp Atlanta, Inc. was established in 2010 as an agricultural division of Seacorp Seattle Inc, bringing on board Jaime Merino as a partner and Managing Director. Jaime brings a long career of over 15 years in the wine industry, working in building international presence for leading Chilean brands and developing strong business relationships in the international markets.

This new division will be mainly focused in the representation of wines produced in Chile and Argentina. Also it will be working with leading producers of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, along with producers of Dry Fruits like walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts. Another line of products will be representing producers of Dehydrated Fruits and Produce.

The mission of the Atlanta office is to become a strong link between producers and suppliers and the distribution channels in key established and emerging markets, retailers, airlines and cruise lines.
